  • Save the video to your phone's photo album in advance, then transfer it via AirDrop or third-party apps.
  • Open KingKong Virtual Camera and select the video from your local album.
  • After saving, close the target app (completely exit from the background).
  • Restart the app to apply changes.
  • Wait for the "Completed" prompt to appear at the top of the screen.
  • Proceed with further operations only after this confirmation. If the prompt does not appear, repeat the steps above (close app → restart).
  • Activate live video streaming or video calls to enable the real-time replacement effect.
  • The video duration must not exceed 20 seconds, with approximately 10 seconds being ideal.
  • Video Specifications for Live Streaming:
    Most live streaming platforms recommend a resolution of 720×1280 pixels (commonly known as 720p). While some platforms may have exceptions, 720p is the widely adopted standard. Therefore, ensure your video is properly cropped to this resolution before streaming.

  • Note: This version differs from the Face Recognition version. The video must be in landscape orientation (horizontal). If the video remains vertical, it will fail to parse and may cause the program to crash.

  • Note:Cropping videos or modifying their orientation cannot be done on mobile devices, as this may corrupt the video file. These operations must be performed exclusively on a computer using desktop software (e.g., HandBrake, Adobe Premiere).
  • Any changes to the video settings require restarting the target app to take effect.
